LEE BAKER
Director
Coach Lee is the Director of Soccer and has been coaching youth soccer for over 20 years at the highest levels of play. He believes in creating a challenging environment where players are constantly active and enjoying their soccer. As a former All American, Texas Player Of The Year, and Youth National Champion, he has the ability to demonstrate the necessary technique to build a solid skills foundation.

PAUL KETANER
Staff Coach
Coach Paul has a unique ability to truly understand the player and focus in on what can help them excel. As a former top club player in the area, he can not only calmly explain what he is looking for, he can demonstrate those skills at a high level as a picture is worth a thousand words.

KEEGAN BATES
Staff Coach
Coach Keegan grew up in the Klein area and played club soccer for Lee Baker. Keegan brings enthusiasm and energy to his sessions. His understanding of the game, creative ideas and coaching style continues to help his players excel on and off the field.

JAMES BREHM
Staff Coach
James has been coaching youth soccer in the Houston area for the past seven years. He has a passion for coaching and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the game. James prides himself on his ability to connect with his players and explain concepts at their level. He has proven to represent all that Legacy strives to accomplish regarding soccer knowledge, ability to communicate, reliability, integrity, and simply a love for impacting young people. Growing up, James played competitive soccer for the Texans Soccer Club and was also an all-state goalkeeper at Klein High School. He's proud to be coaching at Legacy and in the community that helped shape his youth.

DON BRUNELL
Staff Coach
Coach Don brings his experience as a local high school coach to the Legacy Program. As a high school teacher, Coach Don has developed a coaching style that challenges players, but also pushes them to use the tools which are unique to them when they compete. He has been a HS Coach at Klein Forest and Klein Cain.

Michael Montoya
Coach Michael has been impacting young people and their families as a coach since 1998. He has worked with multiple clubs throughout Texas including FC Dallas, Texas Spurs, Texans Soccer Club, Dynamo/Dash Youth, and most recently Villarreal SC. Coach Lee Baker has worked with Coach Montoya for many years, and couldn't be more excited to be reunited again, "Michael is the perfect fit for Legacy. Not only does he bring a ton of experience to the club, but more importantly, he is a man of character that takes an incredible amount of pride in the growth of the players and teams that have been entrusted to him.
Eric Taylor
Staff Coach
Coach Eric Taylor, or “ET” as he’s known at Legacy, hails from the Northwest Houston area. He coached men and women’s high school soccer in both New Mexico and in Atlanta, Georgia. He was also Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Ohio Valley University (NCAA 2, West Virginia). In addition to his role at Legacy, Eric runs Truth-Spin, llc, Collegiate Sports Guidance Company and coaches high school soccer at Legacy Christian School (Brenham, TX). Coach ET is married with 5 children, and brings a special skill to Legacy in his ability to teach technical skills while also being a top notch goalkeeper coach.

Chris Goos

A local product of the Klein area! As a youth player, Chris played for the Texans Soccer club, represented the US at a youth world championship, and won two highschool state championships with Klein High School. He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where in his senior year he was selected as an NCAA All American. Following college, Chris went on to play professionally in Iceland for Vikingur and three seasons for the Charleston Battery. In 2003 the Battery won the A-League national championship. Chris returned to Houston in 2008 and worked with the Texans Soccer Club as the full time youth director for five years. He has a strong passion for the game and enjoys working with young players to help them find success on and off the field.

Coach Travis Allen is coming on board with Legacy after having a fantastic youth career here in the Northwest Houston area, as well as playing at the college level. He understands the importance of player versatility as he himself was a player who played multiple positions throughout his career. The personality and energy that Coach Travis brings to the field is second to none, and this translates to a lot of joy on the field for players entrusted to him.
